The School Nutrition Association offers the opportunities below for annual awards and scholarships! Please note that the deadline for SNA of Ohio Awards and Scholarships is March 31, 2027.
Award and Scholarship winners will be notified by mid-April and will be recognized at the 2027 Annual Recognition Luncheon in conjunction with the SNA of Ohio Annual Conference. You do not have to be present at conference to win.
When you nominate someone for a state or national award, your name will be entered into a raffle drawing as our thank you! The more you nominate, the more chances you have to win. We will have a separate drawing for state awards and national awards nominators. Winners will be announced at the 2027 Annual Recognition Luncheon at the Annual Conference.
THIS YEAR there will be TWO winners for the SNA of Ohio Scholarship, the Sue Whitaker Member Award, and the Barbara Duncan Memorial Scholarship!
SNA of Ohio is proud to offer our LAC Scholarship to two recipients again this year to SNA of Ohio Members or students in the state of Ohio. This scholarship will cover registration fees and $1700 toward hotel/travel/food expenses. Receipts for all travel, hotel, food expenses, and registration must be submitted to our offices to receive the reimbursement within 30 days of the conclusion of LAC 2027. Please register and complete your flight/hotel reservations prior to being notified of this scholarship, as space is limited.
If you will be retiring from school food service this year (school district or industry), please let us know! Complete the online form by April 30, 2027. We would like to recognize this year’s retirees during the awards luncheon at the SNA of Ohio Annual Conference June 8-10, 2027 in Columbus, Ohio!
